Welcome

The Department of Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) no longer fund the Regional Partnerships but the West Midlands have agreed to continue to support this web-site so that you are able to download regional information aswell as the many reports and documents that the West Midlands Regional Partnership produced over its lifetime.

Following the demise of the Regional Partnerships, the West Midlands is creating a new forum (the West Midlands Children and Young People's Forum) to respond to the change agenda for childrens services. The purpose of Forum (the WMCYPF) is to enable key regional agencies to agree joint action and support on the main priorities to improve outcomes for children and young people in the West Midlands. The Forum will focus on those areas where they are able to add value at the regional level and therby support improvement locally. The Forum will be outcomes focussed and concentrate resources on particular regional issues.
