The questionnaire was constructed in partnership with the region’s Parent Partnership Services and the Voluntary organisations, autism.west midlands and Contact a Family .
The overall aim of the questionnaire was to survey the experiences of parents and carers of children with an ASD from birth to adult hood. The questionnaire includes sections on diagnosis; issues relating to educational provision; transport; training; external support; advocacy; transition; and the impact on the family.
