Identification Working Party ASD (IWPASD)

A multi-agency regional group that meets to address the issues of identification, assessment, diagnosis and interventions with children with autism spectrum disorder. The group has developed guidelines for the identification and assessment of children with an ASD in the region and these  have been incorporated into the National Autism Plan for Children (NIASA, 2004).
The group meets 4 times a year and is planning to hold an annual regional conference on ASD.
