BESD Creative Solutions Group

The remit of the group is to provide:

• A solution focussed, multi agency professional group to look at the needs of a child/young person with BESD and take a radical approach, with the aim of producing a web based, interactive resource within the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda.
• A forum to look at a continuum of provision from a child/young person with BESD perspective.  A key question is ‘how do I get support for …..?’
• A multi agency, multi professional group in representation which will share interesting practice in building confidence and capacity in schools and settings to cope more effectively with behaviour issues.

This remit is being delivered through an exciting programme of good practice presentations, inter authority visits and the development of a BESD training policy and framework.
